The 2nd International Conference on Peace, Security and Social Enterprise will be hosted by Mount Kenya University-Institute of Security Studies, Justice and Ethics.

This conference seeks to bring together stakeholders in government and private sector with the aim of creating focus on best paradigms needed to entrench peace, security, socio-economic and political development. This will be an excellent platform to examine past and current approaches to peace with a view of identifying viable options to address the emerging challenges that threaten national security and well-being of humanity.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  1. Abstracts should clearly highlight the objective, problem, methodology, key  findings/results, conclusions, recommendations and six key words.
  2. Each abstract should include the name of the author(s), affiliation(s), postal address, e -mail, and Telephone Contacts
  3. Each full paper should Not Exceed 10 pages, Single Spacing Font Size 10, Times New Roman, Tables and Figures Inserted where first cited, Ms. Word Format.
  4.  All references cited in the text should be listed alphabetically following the APA format: All references listed should be cited appropriately in the text.
  5. Abstracts of full papers and posters not exceeding 300 words should be

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

  • Conference participation will be both in virtual and physical format.
  • All submitted papers will be peer reviewed.
  • All presented papers will be published in the book of conference proceedings.
  • Published papers will be stored in open access online repository

  1. All participants who plan to attend in person will be required to strictly observe the precautionary and health mitigating measures against COVID-19
  2. Unexpended funds will be donated towards UNESCO Sustainable Development Goal number 10 on Reduced Inequalities
