Welcome to the 8th annual Centre for African Research on Enterprise and Economic Development (CAREED) Conference
University of the West of Scotland School of Business and Creative Industries University of the West of Scotland and Mount Kenya University invites abstracts and papers from a wide range of topics relevant to enterprise, innovation and economic development in Africa.

Call for Abstracts
Our 8th ANNUAL CAREED CONFERENCE in 2024 will be both an in-person and virtual event. Empirical and Conceptual papers are invited. We also encourage doctoral students and early career researchers to submit abstracts and/or research ideas for full or poster presentations. Papers shall be double-blind peer reviewed and published in Conference Proceedings with an ISSN number.
We invite abstracts and papers from a wide range of topics relevant to enterprise, innovation and economic development in Africa.

Delegates attending from Africa = $120.00
Other delegates from outside of Africa = $220.00
PhD Students (Internal and external in-person participants) = $60
Online participants = $60.00
Exhibition rate = $220.00
For all in-person participants the fee paid covers all conference meals, including conference dinner, teas, coffees etc.
