MKU BACHELOR OF DENTAL SURGERY

The Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board of the Ministry of Health has
approved the curriculum for training Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
The approval makes Mount Kenya University the 1st private University in Kenya, from University of Nairobi and Moi University to have received the approval.
The communication of the curriculum approval was done by the Chairman of the Board Prof. George A.O. Magoha who is the immediate former Vice Chancellor of University of Nairobi, and copied the Director of Medical services/Registrar of Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board Dr. Nicholas M. Muraguri.
To mount the programme the University will be required to put facilities in place and invite the Board for inspection and regulatory consent to admit students. We congratulate the administration for the bold step in continuing to scale the heights in health training.
