Career opportunities exist as scientists / researchers in research institutes and organizations when you study programmes under biological sciences include; Biotechnology, Environmental Science and Applied Biology.

This area involves production of hospital consumables and medicines. It requires one to have medical background such as bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery, medical laboratory sciences, Pharmacy, Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Science and Processing, clinical medicine and community health, clinical medicine and surgery, oral health and  dental technology.
