President applauds MKU Presidential Award Club

MKU PA club was recently applauded by his Excellency the president of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta for their contribution to Nyeri GK prison.

The Nairobi Campus PA club members had earlier this year joined hands with Nyeri GK prison during their launch of the online Record Book Platform of the president’s award programme.

The members donated ICT equipment’s among them computers to enable the inmates register online and ensure continuous uploading of their progress. An act that made the club members to be recognized by the president.

Nyeri GK prison was the first prison facility in Kenya to roll out the Award programme with 19 participants at direct entrant Gold.
