
Parklands Law School
Mount Kenya University Parklands Law Campus is fully accredited by the Council of Legal Education to offer legal training to undergraduate students seeking to attain Bachelors in Law. The LLB Programme seeks to equip learners with broad based skills and knowledge that is applicable both to Kenya and the International legal arena. Parkland Law Campus is recognized by Council of Legal Education.
Since 2009, Law campus has contributed to the training of competent lawyers equipped with the necessary skills needed to achieve that aim, inter alia with knowledge of both national and international laws. The student population is supported by a strong cadre of qualified teaching and non-teaching staff dedicated to making Mount Kenya University School of Law, the model School of Law in this region. The graduates from the programme, can pursue certification as practitioners, can work in government, inter-governmental, non-governmental organizations international organizations and private practice. The School of Law has recently introduced a Master of Laws (LL.M) program, featuring specializations in Intellectual Property & ICT, International Human Rights & Democracy, and International Business & Investment Law. The school has benefited from the Mount Kenya University dominance in ICT and has integrated ICT into its learning processes. To promote research and training in international and development law, the School of Law runs a Centre for International and Development Law which is anchored on research, training, publication and establishing linkages with various organizations.
The Law campus has immense facilities that anchor its program, staff and students’. To this end, it has state of the art library, reading areas, ICT facilities, prayer rooms for diverse religious groups, moot court, online research journals, among other academic and quasi academic facilities.

The Center for International and Development LAW (CIDLaw) is an international legal research center with cutting edge research and policy reforms initiatives. It is hosted by the Mount Kenya Parklands Law Campus on the 5th floor.
