Nakuru Campus Spreads Christmas Cheer

The Nakuru Campus team visited Holding Hands Children’s home on 19th December, 2015. The institution was started 5 years ago to accomodate childrens from the families that were internally displaced due to the post election violence. It accomodates a total of 123 children using the institutional based care but are shifting to the family based care still within the institution as a way of giving the kids a family set-up feeling hence changing its name from Holding Hands Children’s home to Miti Mingi Village.We were able to interact with the kids and the caregivers and also presented some donations to them.
