My academic journey has been very difficult. In fact, it had come to an end after I completed high school. Despite performing well. Without the help of the MKU chairman, my dream of studying clinical medicine would not have come true.

He rescued me when I had a medical check-up and was about to sell my kidney to someone at Ksh500,000 so as to join university. He gave me a one-year scholarship comprising

fees and out-of-pocket allowance. When the year ended, I went back to his office and requested for financial support until I complete my studies. He agreed.

I thank him for his generosity. It has inspired me to come back in future and help others with similar problems.
