Enjoy Alumni Tuition and Application fees waiver
1. TUITION FEES WAIVER – POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES
Mount Kenya University Foundation is the charitable arm of the University with programmes geared towards harnessing support that benefit the educational, research and the community service mandate of the University.
MKU Foundation will support the advancement of education and research through discretionary tuition fees waiver to the alumni who wish to advance their education from undergraduate to postgraduate level. This incentive has been advocated for by the College of Graduate Studies and Research to encourage the alumni of Mount Kenya University to pursue their postgraduate studies and promote research and innovation.
The University management has continued to give recognition to the university graduates in building the Mount Kenya University brand. In view of this, the University will waive to all alumni who will register for the postgraduate programmes the following;
i) Up to a maximum of 10% of the tuition fees waiver to alumni who register for postgraduate training within Mount Kenya University
ii) Up to a maximum of 100% application fees for alumni registering for postgraduate programmes
iii) Alumni advancing from certificate to diploma, diploma to bachelor’s degree, will receive a waiver of application fees only up to a maximum of 100%

2. USE OF UNIVERSITY FACILITIES/ SERVICES
The university has continued to invest in infrastructure to support academic, research and curricular activities. Alumni who wish to use such facilities/ services may enjoy discounted rates from the market rates.
3. INFORMATION
The directorate of Career and alumni Services will assist students and alumni in acquiring information, knowledge and competencies that enhance individual career development, academic success and employability.
4. BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH EMPLOYERS
The directorate of Career and Alumni Services will develop synergetic relationships with employers, commercial and industrial partners for the purpose of exploring attachment, internships and professional employment and wealth creation opportunities for students and graduates.
