Convention Centre Naming Competition

Are you creative? Can you coin a name and slogan that befit the new Mount Kenya University Convention Centre?

The office of Students Welfare and Alumni Affairs (SWAA) hereby invites all students and alumni to participate in a competition to find an appropriate name and slogan for the ultra-modern facility at Thika Main Campus.

The name and slogan must be catchy, and reflect MKU’s stature as the foremost private institution of higher learning in East and Central Africa.

The top three entries will receive the following:

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 

1. All entrants must be bonafide students at any of the MKU campuses/centres
2. Eligible alumni must have completed their courses and graduated
3. The chosen name must reflect the stature and academic philosophy of MKU
4. One student registration number is only eligible to make one entry
5. The Judges’ decision is final
6. All winning entries remain the property of MKU

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1. Your Name
2. Registration number
3. Campus
4. Competition Entry Name (Proposed Name)
5. Your theme or slogan
6. Brief justification of your name choice

COMPETITION DEADLINE

The competition will run from 28^th May to 14^th June 2021
