MKU students awarded “best diplomat of the year “ by AFROMUN 2017

majook-makur---academic-affairsMajok Makur Malak former Academic Affairs Minister MKUSA 2016/2017 has been awarded as the BEST DIPLOMAT OF THE YEAR due to his passion about Africa and his leadership ability to negotiate with other diplomats from other countries.

He was among students delegates who represented Mount Kenya University at the AFROMUN took place on March 6th-10th at the United Nation office in Nairobi Kenya which hosted over 500 delegates across Africa where he represented The Republic of Rwanda at the Africa Union (AU) summit.

Majok, who was the chairperson of PAN AFRICANIST GROUP in the conference has also been nominated to join Mandela worship by Young Africa Leaders Initiative (YALI) Regional leadership center in Nairobi- Kenya.
Mount Kenya University is not only an academic excellent but a mentor for future leaders, the varsity has one of the strongest students association in the region.

End Of Semester Examination Notice

Students are kindly reminded that only students with examination cards will be allowed to sit examinations
commencing on the 18th of April.

Incase of inability to pay fees, students are advised to inform their guardians to make a commitment to pay
at the Directorate of finance bt 7th of April 2017.

Kenya University Sports Association (KUSA) Women Games

6th Edition KUSA Women Games was held from 7th to 9th April, 2017 at Moi University Law School in Eldoret. Mount Kenya University was represented by two teams; Handball and Karate.

The handball team finished top in group stage then met Masaai Mara University which they beat 38 to 15. In semi-finals the team met University of Eldoret and won with a margin of 25-12. In the finals they met Masinde Muliro University which they 29- 24 to be declared champions of the edition.

In Karate the team won in Kumite and became runners up in Kata. They were declared runners up in Women's Games.


Continuous Assessment Test II (CAT II) Notice


You are reminded that CAT II will be administered as from 13th to 19th of this month according to payment policy and you are supposed to have paid 80% of the fee before you sit for CAT II.

We will only allow only those students who have complied with the policy to sit for CATII.

Kindly pay to avoid being locked out.
