MKU Faculty members receives external grants

Four (4) members of MKU staff have been awarded with up to a maximum of two millions Kenya shillings (Ksh 2,000,000) for their Ph.D research in their respective fields of study by the National Research Fund (NRF) Grant 2017.

This follows a successful training workshop on how to convert “academic proposals” to “fundable proposals” which was conducted by Directorate of Research and Innovations.

In addition, seven (7) members of staff were shortlisted for the “Multidisciplinary Collaborative research category” grant awarded up to a maximum of 20,000,000 per research project.
