School of Law Lecturers undergo a successful pedagogy training

On Tuesday, April 11th, 2017, School of Law Lecturers received training on Pedagogy Skills covering the topics: Lecture Preparation and Presentation, Teaching Strategies and Methods, Communication in the Lecture Room, Instructional Media and Assessment of Student Achievement.

 

The workshop was conducted by Facilitators from the School of Education at Main Campus, Thika. The challenges addressed during the one-day workshop included how to deliver legal content using the general pedagogical or teaching skills and tailor-making the presentations to law classes.

 

The session was quite interactive and participants benefitted a lot through sharpening of lecture delivery skills and overall performance as Lecturers. The School of Law wishes to express appreciation to the facilitators, organizers and participants at the workshop.
