How do I become a library member? ANSWER: MKU Library is a university library and all students and staff of Mt. Kenya University are members by default. If you are a student or staff, Please register yourself with the user services librarian. How do I use the OPAC? ANSWER: The online public access catalogue (OPAC) is a list of all library information resources. It gives the users access to information materials available in the library at a glance. The library user can use any of the following search fields to trace a specific information resource.
It also help the user to know the status of the material, whether IN or OUT in circulation. Why do I have to leave my bag at the cloakroom? ANSWER: For security reasons, although the MKU library trusts all its users, in the past some clients have been found to leave the library with information materials they did not borrow legally. This also minimizes the chances of loosing your personal property due to the safety guaranteed once your bag is at the cloakroom. I can't find the book I am looking for?
