Introduction

Objectives of the course

  1. To provide increased training opportunities to enable the trainee to be self supporting.
  2. To provide practical skills and attitudes which will lead to income generating activities in the urban and rural areas through self –employment or  wage employment
  3. To provide practical education and training skills which are responsive and relevant to Kenya’s Agricultural, industrial, commercial and economic needs.
  4. To encourage self-employment while at the same time producing skilled technicians and technologists for both formal and informal sectors.

Entry requirement

The trainee must have a

  • KCSE mean grade of C minus with C minus in Biology

Course Units

Award of Certificate

A candidate who satisfy the Board of examiners in all the examinations and other course requirement shall, on the recommendation of the Board of Examiners and approval of the Academic Board be awarded the Certificate In Animal Health and Production
