In evaluating applications, the University considers:
- Mean grade achieved in High School
- Performance in core subjects relevant to the chosen programme
- Additional supporting information submitted with the application

- Consult with an academic adviser before applying
- Submit applications early, as admission is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability

- Ksh. 2,000 – Postgraduate programmes (East African applicants)
- USD 50 – All non–East African applicants
